Marie-Ange Binagwaho, Executive Director
Ms. Binagwaho has over 18 years of international and domestic experience in management information, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting systems and providing technical support to non-profit, private-for-profit, and community-based organizations as well as micro finance institutions. Ms. Binagwaho has worked in over 15 countries; she has worked in the US at the local level with emphasis on migrant and refugee communities and overseas with community based, non-profit, and international organizations.

Richard Stolz, Operations Manager
Mr. Stolz has worked for SHE in different capacities since 2002. He has held a variety of senior positions in the non-profit and for-profit sectors during his 29-year professional career, with an emphasis on communications and financial management functions. He has lived and traveled abroad extensively since childhood.

Camille McCarthy, Director of Programs for Latin America and East Africa
Ms. McCarthy holds an MA in International Development with an emphasis on the nexus between environmental and women’s issues. Due to her Peace Corps service in El Salvador, she has highly relevant experience with sustainable development, environmental protection, and women’s empowerment.  Additionally, she has worked with foreign governmental ministries, and international NGOs.

Melanie Szulczewski, Ph.D. Research Director and Cameroon Program and Training Coordinator
Dr. Szulczewski is SHE's Scientific and Technical Advisor and an environmental scientist and professor at George Mason University. She was an agro forestry Peace Corps Volunteer in northern Cameroon. It was there that she saw firsthand the increasing scarcity of fuel wood and started working to educate women on using improved cook stoves. She now works on expanding the role of solar cooking to improve living conditions in many developing countries.

Bridget Huttenlocher, Program Manager, West Africa
Ms. Huttenlocher has fund raised for an HIV/AIDS institute in Uganda and served as a Small Enterprise Development Peace Corps Volunteer in Mali, West Africa.  She has experience in sustainable development, international business and women's empowerment. Bridget holds a BS and BA in Marketing and French and is fluent in French and Bambara (West African dialect).
