The International Foundation awarded SHE a $10K grant for the expansion of the Asociación Comunitaria Unida por el Agua y la Agricultura (ACUA) HotPotTM solar cooking program in El Salvador.  The grant will be used to distribute 250 HPs in nine communities where women will buy the HotPots using micro-credit.  Several women who are currently involved in our HotPot Pilot Project will act as community trainers, recruiting, training, and providing follow-up to the new program participants.  This one-year program will begin November 2007.
